The village is ideal for families, who will certainly not be short of things to do. As well as huge amounts of space in which to walk and cycle, Samoens can also offer tennis, archery, golf, horse riding, hour long carriage rides and trout fishing.

Children will also love the adventure park in the forest "Indina Park".

To give parents a break, during which they might like to use the fitness studio and beauty salon, the Samoens crèche is available for children from 3 months to 6 years of age. The facility is open all year round and takes half day or full day bookings, with meals included. During the ski season, the crèche offer a half day ski school, with the remainder of the day at the crèche facilities in the village.

For older children, the Tourist board offers 'animation' sessions during the summer and winter seasons, offering a huge range of open air activities and games. Winter activities include skiing, sleighing, snow shoeing and ice skating. In the summer ball games, swimming and much more. Great fun!

During the winter months, the 60 m² ice skating rink is open. A skating course and ice dancing demonstrations are just some of the activities on offer here.

Ski school is offered for all the family, no matter what your level. In Samoens, you can even book family lessons so that you all get to ski together, which is an option few other ski resorts offer.
